If u say no, then why couldn't God have created the same environment when he created the world?
Will we be truly free in heaven?

Yo Kent, I got this dude bound and gagged in my closet. I jacked him from East Side Long Beach. He was crying like a girl about how it wasn't right that I was stealing him from his family, but I told him to shut up like a good Christian.
Just wondering, would you like to have him as your slave? You don't even have to buy him, I'll give em to you as a Christmas present.
Let me know what you think. Maybe you can share Jesus with him while he serves you under threat of death for the rest of his life.

I haven't given it much thought lately. I would say no. Not in that "heaven". Unless we can we have Slaves in Heaven.

what other 'heaven' is there?

The presence of God is Heaven. I personally believe we are in the place Christ described to his Apostles as "behold I go to prepare a place for you". Most Futurist believe that is heaven He is talking about there. I don't know if you do.
Does that help?

Yeah, I know. It's one of those situations where once again, I let the "time statement" dictate what He means instead of the other items.

what ' time statement'?

Post by ChristVader on Dec 16, 2005 9:56:16 GMT -5
"I will come back"
This "time statement" is directly tied to Matt 16. It cannot escape Christ other conversations as to "when" these things would take place.
You have some Partial Preterist who believe in four or five "second" comings. As a Full Preterist I only have one "second coming". These "houses" would be revealed upon that return.
In other words, I do not believe they(houses) would be revealed when I can turn the door knob on them and walk into them.

Yo E,
Was there ever a point to your post? ;D Man, I was thinking you was going to make some profound correlation with sin and heaven and being locked in the closet. Then you said "define wrong thread" and I almost bust a gut. I gotta be careful when I read your posts in the library, you gone get me kicked out.
