Okay, Roldan and Othrodox...told ya'll I'd be back! ;D
Okay, so I'm reading "Grace Unknown" by Sproul,
and he named 3 Covenants (Redemption, Works and Grace), are these the only "3" covenants of Reformed/Covenant Theology?
Its very dope...I'm learing so much by the material that ya'll hit me off wit!!
Oh, and for my birthday (7/29), my wife is getting me a rental car and paying for my registration to go see the "Chosen by God" confrence with RC Sproul in Sept... ;D

The Covenant of Redemption is a agreement between the Triune God to Redeem man from sin. The Covenant of works and the Covenant of Grace are the results of the Covenant of Redemption. The Covenant of Works was made with Adam But in all its all just ONE covenant THE COVENANT of GRACE. |

yea...that's what I'm understanding....however, even after the fall the mandate is still perfection, sadly..this was never really presented to me before reading this book...

I love R.C. !! yo Azriel, good to hear from you. Hope all is well with you and yours!
Your post is bringing me back to when I first learned of the covenant of Redemption while reading through Charles Hodge's Systematics...it changed my entire approach to Theology. I have a lot to say about this wonderful doctrine, but greater minds than mine have said a lot as well....check out your Sytematics by Berkoff on this as well...you are truely growin leaps and bounds kid, can't wait to fellowship with you.
