I dunno man. It's just I put it in and it did nothing for me like Christology. It's hard to describe. It's like Andre 3000 said'My fav. group ain't comin' w/ it..." Much respect to Duce. I like what he's doing. I just don't feel the majority of this one. Like Common said "if I don't like it I dont like it that dont mean that I'm haten..." Just dont like this one.

The Ambassador has done it again. After his first dope release entitled "Christology", the Ambassador has now made "The Thesis". With his catchy beats, great messages, and tight rhymes, "The Thesis" is one of the best CD's I've bought...I'll try to explain.
It starts with an intro...not really feelin the intro, but it's an intro! who cares!? Some dude is checkin his answering machine, and Ambassador is on there...psssh.
Track 2- "Thesis Pieces": Wow. Definitely one of my top 2 or three songs on the album. The instrumental is great, and at the beginning/during the chorus, he mixes a young girl's voice saying "Jesus makes everything right"(random note, lol). This song is practically introducing the new CD...Great rhymes, good message. This song doesn't pin-point a certain message, just random stuff.
Track 3- "AMBA-SS-ADOR": Not feelin this song as much, but it's good. The most annoying thing, is he just spells his name out during the chorus! Gets quite annoying for me. In this track he is mainly stating what his mission, what he thinks God has told him to do. Of course, the lyrics are dope, Ambassador will never have any lyrics less than dope. (Not really feelin the instrumental)
Track 4- "Song For You": Another favorite. The song starts out with some old guys singing a slow song...but of course, Ambassador cuts in saying: "Didn't think it was a slow jam, DID YA'?"...anyway, this is a dope song, not a certain message. It's hard to explain most of these songs, they're so DOPE!
Track 5- "Feels Good"- This song features another one of my favorite emcees, Da' TRUTH. Incredibly dope...they just mainly list things that "Feel Good". Nice beat, there are places on the net wher you can hear this track, niceee.
Track 6- "Get You Open": THIS, is the song you'll be bumpin in your car with your massive subs. This is the joint with the bass...it almost has a "Drop It Like It's Hot" feel to it. (He actually uses the phrase: Drop it like it's hot, lol). I love this song, probly up there with "Thesis Pieces". It's the beat that mainly gets you into it, but the multi's are incredible at times...I have to rewind it just to listen to what i actually heard. DopE!
Track 7- Interlude- No need for explanation, just him talking...his interludes are actually great, the way he explains the hiphop culture
Track 8- "The Elements": In this song, Ambassador goes thur each Element in Hiphop: "Emcees, B-boys/girls, Graff artists, and DJ's". And displays how we can use EACH of these elements to be used for God's glory! Amen. Great beat...again, great message a lyrics
Track 9- "Crown Him": Not feelin this song as much. It's good, but if i'm listenin to the CD, this is one song I usually skip past. I'm not gonna go into detail on this one, hope you're cool with that...haha
Track 10- "Oh Wretched Man": This is the deepest song on the album, and I'm definitley feelin it! "The problem ain't that we rock timbs, the problem is we got sins"...no doubt. Besides the fact that they got some annoying yet catchy high-pitched males singing the chorus, this is one of my faves.
Track 11- "Clothes, My Hair": You can also hear this one places on Soundclick. It's a dope song, about how man looks at the outside, but God looks at the inside. Explains how, when he was going thru his life...he dressed as a gangsta, baggy pants, doo-rags, etc...and was worried that God might now be pleased by his looks. Then he realized He looks at the inside.
Track 12- "Back Home: Good song, but I don't listen to it often...the hook is the best part of the song to me...good song, not one of my favorites.
Track 13- "We Worship You": In this song, the Ambassador attempts to do a "Hiphop Worship Song". I'm not gonna lie, it's kinda awkward. The majority of us are used to worship songs in church...and not gangsta's roughly chanting: "We Worrrrship Youuuu" during the hook...lol!
Track 14- Interlude
Track 15- "The Anthem": In this song, the Ambassador is with some crew...I'm like 100% it's not Cross Movement, I'm not sure who is all on the track, but it's pretty dope. Whoever they are...they're pretty good.
Track 16- "Body Talk": This song, is directed right to the ladies...the "Body Talks"...should I say much more?
Track 17- "The Fall": Not one of the songs I'm feelin...but It's fairly good...Great Message no doubt! Just about the Fall. Great lyrics and message, beat is aight. ---------------------------------------------------- CONCLUSION:
THIS IS A GREAT CD! If you're a fan of Cross Movement, pick this up without a thought! I personally think it's dope without a doubt. If you've been thinkin of pickin up a new hiphop CD with a great message, buy Ambassador's "The Thesis"
I GIVE THIS ALBUM A 4.5 out of 5 Stars
