you said that sounds like a circular arguement.
Now if you think about it. The REAL apostles creed is the new testament. Because when Jesus and the apostles referred to "SCRIPTURE" they were talking about the Tanakah. So if your so-called "apostles creed" doesn't line up with the "Holy Spirit Illumination" of the actually apostles then there's a problem.[/quote]
Again HHH, a creed is a statement about what one believe about the Bible. You have a creed, admit it or no.
I'll even do you the favor of naming this creed for you:
'The HHHead Creed'
And at least one affirmation in your creed is that you believe that the nature of God is NOT trinitarian.
another would be, the Church has been wrong for two thousand years.
The Bible is not your creed. What you believe the Bible says, that is your creed.
The Bible reveals a "Godhead" a triune Creator and King of all things.
grace and peace- DoX

HHH already took care of this one nicely.
But the fact is that they HAVE NOT AND DO NOT line up with Scripture 100% of the time.
And this line about the Church being wrong for 2000 yrs is so "strawman" yesturday!
And as to your objection to one not being Orthodox because they do not hold to the Creeds. Well that just went out the Window when you said the Creeds match Scripture 100%. For if they do then there is no problem with me just being a Biblicist. Its sorta like you like Scoffield, and I like King James.
Now we have really said something!!! WOW!
Be honest to your own statement John, you ONLY hold to the Creeds that someone else (Gentry) told you line up with Scripture. Your rejection of the rest of the Creeds says that you are accusing the Church of getting it wrong too. You think you are getting brownie (Regeneration) points for finding the few spots where YOU and your FRIENDS think the Church got it right.

I'll even do you the favor of naming this creed for you: 'The HHHead Creed' And at least one affirmation in your creed is that you believe that the nature of God is NOT trinitarian. Amen to HHHead Creed Section A ;D another would be, the Church has been wrong for two thousand years. Sorry wrong answer. The correct statement would be; That for 2000 years people not following the ORIGINAL Apostles doctrine (Acts 2:42) have unfortunately infiltrated the ranks of Earthly church leadership. The Bible is not your creed. What you believe the Bible says, that is your creed. Hmm, suspect statement of more circular arguing. This statement can only be accurate if your creeds are accurate which is yet to be proven. (X's statement from HHHead creed due to unsubstantial proof for insertion.) The Bible reveals a "Godhead" a triune Creator and King of all things. I'm still waiting for proof of this ;D. We'll see what's up in the thread with me and The Answer

Hey Kent,
How bout spending more time defending the Trinity than jumping on the Oneness bandwagon.
I like what Manata said about this:
"it's funny that cults and heretics are all friendly when they are in the minority and when they get in charge they get exclusive. Look at the Muslem's: when Muhhamed first started he wrote that the Jews and Christians were his buddies, when he took control of Mecca then you start to see writting about killing Jews and Christians."

Actually what happen with Muhammad is that he try to get Christians and Jews to think they believed the same thing. He started killing them when they rejected the idea. ;D
